After the Accident(Cincinnati)
Nice Guys Never Last

In the current music landscape, numerous bands have blazed quickly into the spotlight, only to disappoint the hopeful ears of a generation yearning for something to call their own. The 1960\'s had the Beatles. The 1970\'s had Zeppelin and Floyd. The 1980\'s had U2, the Clash, and Metallica. The 1990\'s had Nirvana, Guns-N-Roses, and Pearl Jam.

As we cross the midpoint of this new decade, our generation is hard pressed to find a anthematic band to define who we are. To define what we need. The recording industry has bombarded us with bands who fill the airwaves with trite political unrest, borish tales of love-gone-bad, and mindless bubblegum rock that have dulled our minds and left us to compromise our ears from lack of innovation.

Lack of progression.

Lack of inspiration.

Lack of soul.

We aim to fight this. We aim to change the culture. The landscape. We aim to tear down walls instituted by mainstream music. On how a band should look. On what a band should sing. On how a band should sound. On how a band should act.

We are here to bring every willing ear the sweet sonic bliss of Rock.

Pure Rock.

Simple Rock.

Hard Rock.

Hold on to your asses.

After the Accident is here.

\"After the Accident is proud to distinguish itself as a Dayton band and their music is much in the vein of other Dayton products like Hawthorne Heights.\" - Dayton City Paper

“....I can tell that Dayton has a great post-hardcore scene. I found no less than ten of these types of bands from Dayton alone, and After the Accident was by far the best of them all.” - Dan Kasten: American Indie Music

“After the Accident, the five-piece indie rock band with great vocal range and intricately tight melodies did just that. Their crowd interaction and high energy antics made [picking them as winners] a no-brainer.” - Bodog Entertainment
