The Sleep City Massacre

Phoenix. The bird of rebirth. The testament to trial and pain. A standard to endurance and result. How fitting that Phoenix, AZ served as the conduit to bring together the ambitious musical conglomerate known as, The Sleep City Massacre. Born form the ashes of other local bands such as “Sunrise Elementary”, “Black Diary Days”, and “Falling Faster”… The Sleep City Massacre holds themselves to no standard of creating new “style” or “genre” of music; Nor do they strive to fit any established mold. They simply desire to inspire through true rock music; meanwhile rejecting numerous recently established rock standards such as “scene fashion”, “synth bass”, and “sampling”.

With a style best described as, “melodic hardcore” featuring songs like “The Scene Kid Holocaust” The Sleep City Massacre takes inspiration from bands like: GlassJaw, The Deftones, Thrice, and Finch. However, more melodic curveball songs, like Farewell Soldier” will tug on the heart strings of any style music.
