Priding themselves with high energy shows Theory of Conspiracy though only being an established band for less than 6 months has already experienced local fame. In the early months of 2007 after a splitting of his last band Sandusky Road, rhythm guitarist and vocalist Richard Tipton set out to find a perfect band that would fit better in his niche. Long time friend and drummer Cody Elder came to Tipton with the idea of creating an alternative rock band. Tipton jumped on the idea and called up bassist Curtis Crofford who was also in Sandusky Road to complete the rhythm section. Tipton also called north Texas lead guitarist Steven Moore who had shown an interest in starting a band with him. In May of 2007 TOC entered Deep Ellum Studios in Dallas TX and in 12 hours their first single “Satisfied”, was born. TOC released two more singles in the summer of 2007, “Seasons”, their slow tempoed lyrical love song and “The Theory” a distortion driven classic example of just good ol alternative rock! Theory of Conspiracy looks to release their self-titled debut album in early 2008!
